See the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 oil rig level playthrough – TheSixthAxis

More of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has been shown off at the Summer Game Fest, diving into what is sure to be one of the biggest games of the end of 2022 wi9th a level playthrough of the remade, and iconic Dark Water level. Modern Warfare II is out on 28th October for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a sequel to the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which was a remake of the 2007 hit Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Of course, Modern Warfare already had a sequel in 2009, which was called Modern Warfare 2. This game is a remake of that game in many ways, called Modern Warfare II.
Following on from yesterday’s gameplay trailer, the new gameplay from Summer Game Fest showed off the oil rig amphibious assault level, Dark Water, showcasing the game’s new water simulation engine before you board the rig and start clearing its tight industrial passages.
Modern Warfare 2 will see Task Force 141 return with From the glimpse of footage familiar characters like Price, Soap, and Ghost all making a return, but there’s also new characters like Alejandro. The story will, from the teasers, head to Mexico in the early stages, before scooting around the world on a merry bad guy hunt. As the terrible tagline will tell you, “the ultimate weapons is team”.
Once you’re done with the single player, the game will then feature a full multiplayer suite, alongside a reimagined new era take on the co-op Spec Ops. It is also known that there will be a fully new release of Warzone 2.0. It’s a brand new version of the game released, as opposed to sweeping updates that add new themes and weaponry into the mix, as we saw for Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard. That does not mean Warzone will be shut down or anything, but that Warzone will get fewer updates and content compared to Warzone 2.0. Warzone will be coming a little bit after the release of the main game, though.
