A “ghost bike” painted white now sits attached to a post at the intersection of Mineral Point Road and Ganser Way, near where Taylor M. Dunn, 29, was struck by an alleged drunken driver early Tuesday.

The suspects abandoned their vehicle and stole a truck from a landscaping company, which they drove into Rock County, ultimately colliding with a Rock County deputy’s squad vehicle before attempting to flee on foot.

Newly-appointed system President Jay Rothman recommended extending the freeze for a ninth straight year, saying it would be funded using a $25 million allocation of federal pandemic relief funds.

The body was found Tuesday in a ditch near Highway MM and Highway A in the town of Oregon.
