Subject: First oil production of Algeria Hassi Bir Rekaiz Project
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) would like to announce that the Algeria Hassi Bir Rekaiz Project, in partnership with SONATRACH SPA, has successfully commenced the production with the oil production target at 13,000 barrels per day. The Project will add the total production volume and support the long-term growth of the company.
The Algeria Hassi Bir Rekaiz Project is located onshore, in the eastern part of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, covering an area of 1,916 square kilometers. The Project’s consortium consists of PTTEP at 49% and SONATRACH (Algeria’s National Oil and Gas company) at 51%.
