Deltona High School celebrates the Class of 2022 – Daytona Beach News-Journal

Proud parents, grandparents, friends and more celebrated Mainland High School’s 513 graduates Wednesday evening at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. 
Valedictorian Katelyn Sarvis, who will study civil engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and salutatorian Emily Wilder, who will study geology at Florida State University, addressed their peers during the ceremony.
Wednesday’s celebration was the third graduation ceremony for Volusia County Schools’ 2022 graduation season, with 3,905 expected to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas.
These graduates have completed their final two years of high school amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
